One of the hardest topics for Christians is loving yourself. We should care for others as we care for ourselves but if we don't care for ourself well - the blue print is already faulty.
There is a book I love that I could not get into The Gospel According to Alice: The Lost Chapters and it is because it is not in the public domain. Breakfast at Tiffany's in its book format is such a great teacher about running from yourself, embarrassment of the past (even when it is polished with an apartment over Tiffany's jewelry store.)
We can reinvent ourselves at any time. We just don't always have to throw the baby out with the bath water. We can allow ourselves to be truly seen. Especially by ourselves, having self compassion and love for ourselves. The more we learn to love us the better we get at loving others. We also stop being shamed by who we were, remember that to be truly seen is to be loved and that many great things wait on the other side of healing.
In this course we will combine Biblical truths with similar elements to my last series and if you loved the book... I think you'll love this course.
